Course Overview
PGDM offered at GIMS is a two-year full-time programme, which follows the trimester system. The first year comprises core courses and the second year consists of elective courses. The programme offers dual specialization in second year. The pedagogical methods for teaching are lectures, case studies, project work and simulations. These methods are further augmented by online certification programs from different providers, group discussions, role-plays, movie screenings and industrial visits. To ensure effective learning, the institute leverages these latest technologies to make the teaching-learning process more experiential and participative integrating the benefits of group based learning. The programme is crafted in such a manner that academic rigor is maintained. The students are continuously evaluated in their performance. The teaching pedagogy helps students to experience the management predicaments and empower them to take decisions on real time scenarios. Additionally, corporate connect is maintained through regular interactions with industry experts. Admission Process
The admission to B.Tech Computer Science program is based on entrance exam scores followed by counseling. Here's the step-by-step process:
Check Eligibility
Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with minimum 60% marks.
Appear for Entrance Exam
Appear for BCECE (Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination) or JEE Main. The college accepts scores from both examinations.
Online Application
Fill the online application form on the college website during the application window (typically May-June).
Counseling Process
Shortlisted candidates will be called for counseling based on their entrance exam rank. Document verification and seat allotment happens during counseling.
Fee Payment & Enrollment
