Course Overview
The Department of Civil Engineering is imparting technical Education of high quality to the aspiring youth of the country. The department with the passage of its evolution and growth has succeeded in creating its place of excellence within the Institute as well as among its counterparts in the country. It has been attracting bright students from all parts of the country for quality education in Civil Engineering at UnderGraduate level and at PostGraduate level as well. During the course of time it has offered opportunities to its inmates in the area of quality education.
The mission behind the Department of Civil Engineering is to impart high quality education and spawn eminent graduates to carry out leading-edge research in the discipline of Civil Engineering. The department has qualified and experienced faculty in the areas of Concrete Technology, Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Foundation Engineering, Structural Engineering, Sediment transport, Transportation Engineering, Groundwater Hydrology, Surface water hydrology, Water Resources Engineering, and Hydraulic structures.
Faculty members are actively involved in publishing research papers in various reputed National /International Journals and Conferences. The Department regularly organizes Student development programs, Faculty development programs, Conferences, and Workshops. A continuous interaction with industries is established through MOUs, Industry visits, and Internships. Department conducts various technical activities and social activities. They are encouraged to participate in various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities and have won prizes. Training and Placement division provides full training and placement assistance to students in all areas of professional education. All of our students get placed in reputed companies. Students have exhibited good performance in competitive examinations. Alumni are serving in various positions in reputed companies. With the rapidly evolving technology and continuous need for innovation, it has been the Department’s ongoing endeavour to produce quality engineering graduates.

Admission Process
The admission to B.Tech Computer Science program is based on entrance exam scores followed by counseling. Here's the step-by-step process:
Check Eligibility
Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with minimum 60% marks.
Appear for Entrance Exam
Appear for BCECE (Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination) or JEE Main. The college accepts scores from both examinations.
Online Application
Fill the online application form on the college website during the application window (typically May-June).
Counseling Process
Shortlisted candidates will be called for counseling based on their entrance exam rank. Document verification and seat allotment happens during counseling.
Fee Payment & Enrollment
Selected candidates need to pay the admission fee and complete the enrollment process to confirm their seat.
