Course Overview
Currently, the department of Mechanical Engineering offers B.Tech (Mechanical) and M.Tech (Mechanical). So far, more than 1500 alumni are working across the globe at various levels in different industries and Government sectors.
The department of Mechanical Engineering has well-qualified and experienced faculties from various reputed Institutions who are passionate about innovation and research along with trained and skilled staff. Further, the department is presently focusing on Advanced Composite Materials, Industrial Automation and IoT, to make things smart with Industry 4.0, as per the need of the market. Also, our students are publishing papers in International Journals, International Conferences, and publishing patents.
As per the AKTU curriculum, the Mechanical Engineering Department has well-established labs such as:

- Material Testing lab
- TOM lab
- CAMD lab
- CAD/CAM lab
- Thermodynamics lab
- Fluid Mechanics and Fluid Machines Lab
- Measurement, Metrology and Control lab

Admission Process
The admission to B.Tech Computer Science program is based on entrance exam scores followed by counseling. Here's the step-by-step process:
Check Eligibility
Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with minimum 60% marks.
Appear for Entrance Exam
Appear for BCECE (Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination) or JEE Main. The college accepts scores from both examinations.
Online Application
Fill the online application form on the college website during the application window (typically May-June).
Counseling Process
Shortlisted candidates will be called for counseling based on their entrance exam rank. Document verification and seat allotment happens during counseling.
Fee Payment & Enrollment
Selected candidates need to pay the admission fee and complete the enrollment process to confirm their seat.
