Civil
Course Overview
A Diploma in Civil Engineering syllabus is designed to build strong technical, practical, and field-oriented skills required for infrastructure development and construction management.
In the early semesters, students study foundational subjects such as Engineering Mathematics, Applied Physics, Applied Chemistry, Engineering Drawing, Computer Applications, and Basic Mechanics, which help develop analytical ability and technical understanding.
As the course progresses, the syllabus covers core civil engineering subjects, including:
-
Construction Materials – properties and testing of cement, concrete, steel, bricks, timber
-
Surveying – land measurement, leveling, total station, and GPS basics
-
Engineering Mechanics – forces, equilibrium, and structural basics
-
Building Construction – foundations, masonry, RCC works, finishing, and services
-
Concrete Technology – mix design, testing, durability, and quality control
-
Geotechnical Engineering – soil mechanics, bearing capacity, and foundation design

Admission Process
The admission to B.Tech Computer Science program is based on entrance exam scores followed by counseling. Here's the step-by-step process:
Check Eligibility
Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with minimum 60% marks.
Appear for Entrance Exam
Appear for BCECE (Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination) or JEE Main. The college accepts scores from both examinations.
Online Application
Fill the online application form on the college website during the application window (typically May-June).
Counseling Process
Shortlisted candidates will be called for counseling based on their entrance exam rank. Document verification and seat allotment happens during counseling.
Fee Payment & Enrollment
Selected candidates need to pay the admission fee and complete the enrollment process to confirm their seat.
Career Opportunities
A Diploma in Civil Engineering opens doors to a wide range of practical and in-demand career opportunities across the construction, infrastructure, design, and public sectors.
Graduates commonly start in roles such as Site Engineer, Site Supervisor, Quantity Surveyor, CAD Technician, Estimation Engineer, Draftsman, or Junior Engineer, where they are directly involved in project execution, planning, measurement, and design support. These roles emphasize hands-on site experience, coordination with contractors, quality control, and cost estimation.
