The Department of Pharmacy is duly recognized and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).

About the Department

Established in 2013, the Department of Pharmacy is one of the premier departments of Mewar University and has played a pivotal role in initiating and strengthening pharmaceutical education in the region. The department has been approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) since its inception, successfully undergoing continuous year-wise inspections.

Notably, the Department of Pharmacy was the first in the South Rajasthan region to receive approval for 100 seats in the B.Pharm programme. Since the academic session 2018–19, the department has consistently been training 100 B.Pharm students and 60 D.Pharm students every year.

With a team of committed, competent, and experienced faculty members, the department has earned a commendable reputation in teaching, research, and professional training. In addition to academic excellence, the department actively organizes community healthcare initiatives, health awareness programmes, sports, and co-curricular activities.

It is a matter of pride that many graduates of the department are successfully placed in reputed public and private sector organizations across India.

Admission Process

The admission to B.Tech Computer Science program is based on entrance exam scores followed by counseling. Here's the step-by-step process:

Check Eligibility

Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with minimum 60% marks.

Appear for Entrance Exam

Appear for BCECE (Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination) or JEE Main. The college accepts scores from both examinations.
